Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's swimming & diving team closed the 2014 portion of their schedule on Saturday sweeping the competition at a home quadrangular meet hosted by the Fighting Tigers at the Bouck Natatorium on Saturday afternoon. The Fighting Tigers defeated: Alfred State College 163-95, Wells College 192-60 and Gallaudet University 197-65 to improve their record to 8-2 versus head-to-head completion on the season to date.

Swimming in their home waters the Fighting Tigers proved to be too much for the visitors as the Orange & Black took seven individual event titles and both relays on the afternoon. Sophomore Brian Alt, Barker, N.Y., Barker High School, led the way for the home team taking the 100-yard backstroke in 58.64 seconds and the 200-yard backstroke in 2:12.16 on the afternoon while sophomore Nolan Graziano, Rhinebeck, N.Y., Rhinebeck High School, took the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:07.07.

Cobleskill will return after their Christmas break on Saturday January 17 when they travel to Troy, N.Y. to compete in the 2014 RPI Kumpf Invitational hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) at the Robinson Pool beginning at 12:00 p.m.
