Geneva, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's swimming & diving team posted an impressive 140-23 victory over North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) rival Cazenovia College in a dual meet hosted by William Smith College on Saturday afternoon. The victory evens the Fighting Tigers record versus head-to-head competition at 2-2 on the season to date.
Cobleskill won every individual and relay event on the docket on Saturday afternoon led by a quartet of individual event winners as: junior
Anthony McGorsik, East Hampton, N.Y., East Hampton High School, won the 100-yard freestyle in 1:58.40 and the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 1:04.11, sophomore
Mick Fryer, Ravena, N.Y. , Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School, won the 50-yard freestyle in 25.89 seconds and the 500-yard freestyle in 6:02.80, sophomore
Sam Datri, Ravena, N.Y., Ravena-Coeymans Selkirk High School, won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:12.86 and the one-meter diving event with 185.15 points, and freshman
Doug Campbell, Montgomery, N.Y., Valley Central High School, who won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:24.61 along with the 100-yard butterfly in 1:00.84.
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action at the Diamond City Invite hosted by Kings College in Wilkes Barre, Pa. on Saturday November 19
th and Sunday November 20
th beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
