Oneonta, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's swimming & diving team made the journey down I-88 on Saturday to compete in the 2019 Hartwick College Quint-Meet hosted by the Hawks at their Moyer Pool facility. The Fighting Tigers defeated North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) rival Cazenovia College by a 122-0 margin at the event while losing to host Hartwick College 224-41, Utica College by a 118-93 margin and to the College of Saint Rose by a score of 174-51. Cobleskill is now currently 2-3 overall versus head-to-head competition on the year.
Sophomore
Zackary Boekeloo, Ballston Spa, N.Y., Home Schooled, was the team's top individual performer at the event winning the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:05.39, while placing third overall in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 1:49.48 and third in the 100-yard butterfly in 57.29 seconds.
Cobleskill will return to action on Saturday November 9
th when they host a double dual meet versus the Broncos of SUNY Delhi and the Herons of William Smith College beginning at 1:00 p.m.
