Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's swimming & diving team registered an impressive 145-78 decision the visiting Broncos of SUNY Delhi on Saturday afternoon at the Bouck Hall Natatorium. With the victory the Fighting Tigers move to 3-3 overall versus head-to-head competition on the year.
The Fighting Tigers captured nine individual events and a relay on the afternoon led by sophomore
Zackary Boekeloo, Ballston Spa, N.Y., Home Schooled, who won the: 1000-yard freestyle in 10:39.55, the 100-yard backstroke in 1:00.84 and the 100-yard freestyle in 52.81 and by junior
Daniel Mullen, Oswego, N.Y., Mexico High School, who won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:00.3 and the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:12.43. Freshman
Zachary Walters, West Seneca, N.Y., West Seneca High School, was also a multiple winner for the Orange & Black taking the 100-individual medley in a time of 1:01.85 and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:51.36.
Rounding out the individual winners for Cobleskill were freshman
Llawrence Swanston, Queens, N.Y. John Bowne High School, who won the 50-yard butterfly in 43.03 and freshman
Christopher Sypherett, Laurelton, N.Y., John Bowne High School, who won the 100-yard butterfly in 1:38.61.
Cobleskill will next be in action at home on Saturday November 23
rd when they host the Scarlett Hawks of Roberts Wesleyan University and The Express of Wells College in double dual meet action beginning at 1:00 p.m.
