Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's swimming & diving team closed the semester in impressive fashion on Wednesday evening posting an impressive 88-55 win over the visiting Broncos of SUNY Delhi at the Bouck Hall Natatorium. With the victory the Fighting Tigers improve to 5-0 versus head-to-head competition on the year.

The Fighting Tiger relays once again were impressive on the night as the team of junior Christopher Syphertt, Laurelton, N.Y., John Bowne High School, first-year Jason Halasy, Brooklyn, N.Y., Midwood High School, junior Zachary Walters, Buffalo, N.Y., West Seneca High School, and senior captain Daniel Mullen, Oswego, N.Y., Mexico High School, took the 200-Yard Medley Relay in 2:02.10 and the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay in 1:42.52.

Individually Daniel Mullen won the 200-Yard Freestyle in 1:58.07 and the 500-Yard Freestyle in 5:31.82 while Jason Halasy captured the 50-Yard Freestyle in 24.10 seconds and the 100-Yard Freestyle in 54.49 seconds with Zachary Walters taking the 200-Yard Individual Medley in 2:16.70 and the 100-Yard Butterfly in 58.58 seconds. Christopher Syphertt was also an event winner for the home team taking the 100-Yard Backstroke in 1:33.12.

Cobleskill will return to action after the winter break when they travel to Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. to meet the Raptors of Bard College on Wednesday January 12, 2022 beginning at 6:00 p.m.
