Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today that Assistant Athletic Trainer Megan Graff has been promoted to the Fighting Tigers Head Athletic Trainer position replacing Matt Rote who has accepted a position at Waverly High School in Waverly, N.Y. Graff was hired as the athletic program's Assistant Athletic Trainer in August of 2020.
A native of Jericho, N.Y., Graff is a 2014 graduate of Syosset High School where she was a member of the Braves girls' soccer and golf teams. After high school she attended SUNY Brockport, Brockport, N.Y. where she was part of the honors program majoring in Athletic Training with a minor in English. She graduated from Brockport in 2018 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Athletic Training along with her National Athletic Trainor's' Association (NATA) certification.
She came to SUNY Cobleskill after working as a graduate assistant in the athletic program at West Chester University in West Chester, Pa. where she earned her Masters of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2020. While at West Chester, Graff worked with the Golden Rams' men's and women's cross country and track & field teams, the football team and the college's cheerleading team.
