Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today the first-year women's golf team member Lily Tobin, Kendall, N.Y., Kendall High School, has been named the athletic program's Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week for the week ending September 3, 2023.
 
The talented first-year team member captured the individual title at the 2023 SUNY Cobleskill Fall invitational over the weekend at the par 71 5288-yard Cobleskill Golf & Country Club in Cobleskill, N.Y. firing a round of 15-over par 85 to outdistance the field in her first intercollegiate event.
 
Led by Tobin's efforts the Fighting Tigers won the tournament's team title by posting a round of 434, 150-over par, to outdistance the field and win their first event of the 2023-24 season.
 
Cobleskill will return to action on Sunday September 10^th when they host Mount Saint Mary's College for a dual meet at the Cobleskill Golf & Country Club beginning at 12:00 p.m.
