SUNY Cobleskill Women's Golf Places Sixth at 2024 Northeast Women's Golf Conference Championship

Fighting Tiger Women's Golfers Bring Home Sixth Place Finish from Northeast Women's Golf Conference Championship Tournament


 
Rexford, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's golf team posted rounds of 399-413 for a two-day total of +236-over par 812 to finish in sixth place overall at the 2024 Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) Champion Tournament hosted by the NWGC at the par-72/5524 yard The Edison Club over the weekend.
 
The Fighting Tigers were led by a pair of first-year players Lilly Tobin, Kendall, N.Y., Kendall High School, who fired rounds of 88 and 96 for a two-day total of +40-over par 184 to tie for 14th place in the 54-player field to tie with her first-year teammate Emma Dreher, East Hampton, N.Y., The Berkshire School, who shot rounds of 89 and 95 to register her two-day total of +40-over par 184.
 
With their efforts the Cobleskill duo tied for fourth place among all first-year performers competing at the event.
