Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has announced that sophomore Marquay Tanksley (Cohoes, NY) and first-year Kate Hadwen (Fair Haven, VT) have been named the Fighting Tiger Athletes of the Week for the period ending November 9, 2025.

Hadwen made an immediate impact in her collegiate debut, leading the Tigers to a 60-58 non-conference win in their season opener. The first-year guard scored 12 points to go along with three rebounds and two assists, shooting 4-for-11 from the field, 1-for-4 from three-point range, and 3-for-4 at the free throw line.

Tanksley opened his sophomore campaign with a standout performance, posting a team-high 18 points along with five rebounds, three assists, and a steal in 32 minutes of play. The guard shot an efficient 8-of-15 from the field (53.3%) and 2-of-4 from beyond the arc (50%) in Cobleskill's narrow 82-78 loss to Hartwick College.
