Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has announced that senior thrower
Dory Gosselin (Whitehall, NY) and first-year thrower
Will Mann (Pawling, NY) have been named the Fighting Tiger Athletes of the Week for the period ending May 17, 2026.
Gosselin and Mann represented Cobleskill at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships, hosted by Ursinus College, competing against a strong regional field.
Mann made his AARTFC debut, competing in both the shot put and discus. He recorded a mark of 13.75 meters (45-1½) in the shot put to place 19th overall, and followed with a discus throw of 40.99 meters (134-5) to finish 17th.
Gosselin also competed in the discus, posting a throw of 35.00 meters (114-10) to place 23rd overall against tough regional competition.
