New Hartford, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill men's golf team wrapped up the two-day Casler Masonry Utica University Invitational with a sixth-place finish at the par-71, 6,792-yard Yahnundasis Golf Club.

Sophomore Anthony Zysk (Little Falls, NY) led the Fighting Tigers, finishing tied for 21st in the 35-player field with a two-day total of +23. Zysk opened the tournament with an 80 (+9), placing tied for 16th after round one. He got off to a strong start with a birdie on the par-4 first hole and added nine pars. Zysk was in contention for a top-10 spot late in the round before bogeys on 17 and 18 moved him down the leaderboard. He followed with an 85 (+14) in Monday's final round, highlighted by a birdie on the par-5 10th and five pars.

Senior James Longwell (Little Falls, NY) finished 30th overall at +35 for the tournament. Longwell carded an 86 (+15) in the opening round with nine pars before posting a 91 (+20) on day two. He got off to a solid start in the final round with a birdie on a par-5 and two pars over his opening six holes.

Junior Benjamin Casola (Oneonta, NY) finished one spot behind Longwell in 31st with a two-day total of +36. Casola opened with a 91 (+20), recording three pars, before improving to an 87 (+16) in the final round. His second-round card included two pars and a birdie on the par-4 16th hole.

Sophomore Joey Olbrich (Monroeville, NJ) finished 33rd at +39. Olbrich posted a 93 (+22) in Sunday's wet conditions with three pars before improving by five strokes in the final round with an 88 (+17), highlighted by four pars.

Junior Bruno Groth (Andover, NJ) rounded out the Cobleskill lineup in 35th place at +41 for the tournament. Groth opened with a 91 (+20) and followed with a 92 (+21), recording three pars in each round.
