Cobleskill Faces National and Regional Powers at RPI Fairgrounds Showdown

Greenwich, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill women's cross country team placed 15th at the highly competitive RPI Fairgrounds Showdown on Saturday morning at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The 6K race featured a deep field of regional and national competition.

Gabrielle Waite (Pulaski, NY) led the Fighting Tigers across the line, placing 108th out of 168 runners with a time of 24:45.4. Gillian Miner (Saranac, NY) was the next Cobleskill finisher, crossing the line in 27:02.4 to place 142nd overall. Brooke Yurkovich (Elizabeth, PA) followed in 150th with a time of 27:51.0.

Molly Repicky (Schoharie, NY) finished 158th in 28:59.2, while Isabella Baier (McKinney, TX) rounded out the Cobleskill scoring lineup, finishing in 33:21.4.

The meet gave the Tigers another opportunity to race over the 6K distance against a strong field as they continue building momentum.

The Fighting Tigers return to the course on Wednesday, October 7, when they travel to SUNY Delhi for the SUNY Delhi Fall Invitational.
