Rome, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill men's golf team placed fourth at the SUNY Poly Invitational on a wet Monday afternoon at the par-69, 6,514-yard Teugega Country Club.

Senior James Longwell (Little Falls, NY) led the Fighting Tigers with a 14th-place finish, carding an 80 (+11). Longwell put together a balanced round with seven pars and two birdies, including one on a par-5 on the front nine and another on a par-3 on the back. He opened with a 41 on the front nine, highlighted by a four-hole stretch that featured three pars and a birdie, before closing with a 39 on the back.

Junior duo Anthony Zysk (Little Falls, NY) and Benjamin Casola (Oneonta, NY) finished tied for 16th after both posted rounds of 83 (+14). Zysk recorded seven pars while going 40 on the front nine and 43 on the back. Casola turned in one of Cobleskill's strongest back-nine performances of the day. After opening with a 44 on the front, he rebounded with a 39 on the back, highlighted by five pars and a birdie on the par-4 14th hole.

Bruno Groth (Andover, NJ) placed 20th in the 25-player field with a 90 (+21). His round included two pars and a birdie on a par-5. Joey Olbrich (Monroeville, NJ) rounded out the Cobleskill lineup in 22nd place with a 99 (+30), adding one par on the day.

The fourth-place result closed out Cobleskill's regular-season invitational schedule as the Tigers now turn their attention toward postseason play.
