Cole Platt joined the SUNY Cobleskill Ag & Tech Athletic Department in August 2026 as Assistant Sports Information Director and Assistant Baseball Coach.
A 2026 graduate of SUNY Cobleskill, Platt was a four-year member of the Fighting Tiger baseball program from 2023-26. During his collegiate career, he helped lead the Tigers to four consecutive conference tournament appearances and earned a spot on the 2026 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) All-Tournament Team.
While a student-athlete, Platt gained valuable experience within the Athletic Department as a game day operations student worker for three years. He served in a variety of roles, including statistics, scoreboard and shot clock operation, photography, and event management. He also completed his internship within the department, focusing on sports information, game day operations, scheduling, and athletic administration.
Prior to transferring to SUNY Cobleskill, Platt began his collegiate career at Hartwick College, where he was a member of the football program.
Platt earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Sport Management from SUNY Cobleskill in 2026.
