The SUNY Cobleskill Department of Sport & Exercise announced today that freshman Jessica Lu, Rowland Heights, Calf., Diamond Bar High School, a member of the women’s golf team has been named the program’s Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week.
The talented freshman braved cold, rainy and windy course conditions to post a round of 99 to win the 2012 SUNY Cobleskill hosted at the Par 71/5681 yard Cobleskill Golf & Country Club in Cobleskill, N.Y. on Friday October 12. .
This marked the second time this season the talented freshman has earned individual medalist honors previously capturing the Keuka College Invitational on September 20.
