The senior outfielder/first baseman went 3-for-8 in the team’s season opening doubleheader split with regional power SUNY Cortland on the road in Cortland, N.Y. on Saturday afternoon. Thomas’s second game two-run home run provided the margin of victory in the Fighting Tigers second game 5-4 victory over the Red Dragons after the home team took the opener by a 9-0 margin.

For the afternoon the Scotia-Glenville High School alumnus was 3-fo-8 at the plate with a homer, two runs batted in and a run scored as Cobleskill opened the campaign at 1-1 on the year.
