The junior swingman helped the Fighting Tigers end a six-game losing streak on Saturday as the talented transfer scored 23 points in the team’s 85-72 victory over the Wildcats of Penn College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action on Saturday afternoon. In two games during the week D’Esti averaged 20.0 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game shooting an impressive 15-of-21, 71.4, from the field including 7-of-11, 63.6%, from three-point range while connecting on 3-of-4, 75.0%, from the free throw line during the week.
D’Esti is currently averaging 11.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 46.7% from the field including 37.0% from three-point range to go with a 79.5% mark from the free throw line for Fighting Tigers who are currently 2-14 overall on the season to date including a 2-6 record in NEAC play.
