The Fighting Tiger freshman sprinter was the team’s top individual performer at the season opening Seventh Annual U-Mass Boston Invitational hosted by the Beacons at the Reggie Lewis Center at Roxbury Community College on Saturday. The regional qualifying meet attracted two-year and four-year institutions; from all levels of competition, as well as independent track clubs.

Boucaud won the 60-meter dash in a time of 6.99 seconds then came back to place ninth overall in the 200-meter dash in 23.24 seconds. He also ran the anchor leg of the Fighting Tigers 4 X 400 meter relay which placed third overall in a time of 3:29.38.
