The junior guard helped the Fighting Tigers thru a difficult part of their 2019 schedule splitting four contests in six days as Cobleskill posted a 70-56 road win at the College of New Rochelle before losing at home in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action on Wednesday to Morrisville State by an 86-79 margin. Over the weekend Cobleskill lost on Friday afternoon in NEAC play at Gallaudet University by a score of 73-65 prior to closing out the road trip with a 76-67 conference road win at Lancaster Bible College (LBC) on Saturday in double overtime.
Lawson was the driving force for the Orange & Black during the week posting double/doubles in points and rebounds versus Morrisville State, 23 points/13 rebounds, Gallaudet University, 14 points/11 rebounds, and Lancaster Bible College, 15 points/21 rebounds, as the 5’5” guard averaged 18.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.2 steals per game while connecting on 25-of-62, 40.3%, shots from the field including 9-of-24, 37.5%, from three-point range for the week.
For the season the Milford native is averaging 14.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 3.9 steals per game while shooting 37.3% from the field including 32.9% from three-point range while hitting on 75.6 of her free throw attempts.
