The talented junior led the Fighting Tigers to a third place finish at the 2022 North Atlantic (Conference NAC) Swimming & Diving Championships over the weekend hosted by Husson University in Bangor, Maine.
The West Seneca, N.Y. native won the league title in the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 55.88 seconds while placing second in the 100-yard individual medley in 57.63 seconds and second in the 50-yard butterfly with a time of 24.34 seconds to earn All-NAC honors in each event. Walters also swam legs in three of the Fighting Tigers third place finishing relays: the 200-yard individual medley relay, 1:49.79, the 400-yard medley relay, 4:05.23, and the 400-yard freestyle relay, 3:36.46.
