Cobleskill, NY – The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has announced that senior Mady Victorin (Menands, NY) and sophomore Andrew Wright (Berne, NY) have been selected as the Fighting Tiger Athletes of the Week for the period ending January 11, 2026.
Mady Victorin helped lead the Tigers to two North Atlantic Conference victories during the week, turning in a pair of standout performances. In Cobleskill’s win over UMPI, Victorin recorded the first double-double of her career with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while also adding two steals and shooting 6-of-15 from the field and 3-of-4 from the free-throw line. She followed that effort with a career-high 19 points in the Tigers’ win over Lesley University, finishing 9-of-11 from the field while adding seven rebounds, two blocks, and an assist. For the week, Victorin averaged 11.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 57.1 percent from the field across four conference contests.
Andrew Wright led Cobleskill to a 3-1 North Atlantic Conference week, serving as the Tigers’ leading scorer in home wins over Lesley and Thomas College. For the week, Wright averaged 13.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game while shooting an efficient 57 percent from the field and 82 percent from the free-throw line. Over the weekend, Wright recorded 18 points, nine rebounds, an assist, and a block in Cobleskill’s one-point victory over Lesley before following it up with a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds in a thrilling win over Thomas College.
