The sophomore midfielder scored a pair of goals during the week in non-league action as the Fighting Tigers tied host Panthers SUNY Purchase 1-1 on Tuesday in Purchase, N.Y. before traveling to Alfred, N.Y. on Saturday to lose an 8-2 decision to the Pioneers of Alfred State College. Carney’s goal versus SUNY Purchase on Tuesday secured the tie for Cobleskill.
