During the week the Fighting Tiger senior center led the team to three North Atlantic Conference (NAC) home game victories as Cobleskill defeated the Wildcats of the SUNY Polytechnic Institute 66-41 on Tuesday evening followed by wins of the Lynx of Lesley University on Friday by a score of 104-20 before defeating the Hornets of Vermont State University-Lyndon by an 80-41 margin to improve to 14-1 overall including a NAC Western Division leading 7-0 mark in league action. 
 
During the week Thayne averaged 23.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.7 blocked shots, and  0.7 steals per game while connecting on 27-of-43 shots from the field, 62.8%, and 13-of-15 from the free throw line, 86.7%.
 
On the season the Hoosick Valley, N.Y. native in 15 games is averaging: 16.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.9 blocked shots per game while shooting 55.4% from the field and 78.3% from the free throw line.
