Cobleskill, NY: The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has named first-year women’s track and field jumper Anneliese Klein (Carlisle, NY/Cobleskill-Richmondville) as the Fighting Tiger Athlete of the Week for the period ending February 23, 2025.

Klein set a school record in the long jump at the Utica Fast Trax Invitational, winning the event with a leap of 5.33 meters (17'6"). Her mark not only secured first place but also met the regional qualifying standard. She also placed eighth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.88 seconds.

The Fighting Tigers will compete next at the SUNYAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by SUNY Brockport this Friday.
