First-year hurdler and jumper Anneliese Klein (Carlie, NY/Cobleskill-Richmondville) turned in a standout performance at the Utica Pioneer Spring Invite, breaking the Cobleskill program record in the 400-meter hurdles with a winning time of 1:06.38—surpassing the previous mark of 1:07.79 set by Princess Joefield—and qualifying for the AARTFC regional championships. Klein also claimed victory in the long jump earlier in the day with a mark of 5.36 meters (17-7), earning two event titles and highlighting her impressive versatility on the track.
