Sophomore women’s swimmer Katherine Noncarrow, Allendale, N.J., Northern Highland Regional High School, has been named the Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week.
Noncarrow was been voted as the conference's 2020 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Women's Swimming & Diving Women's Most Valuable Swimmer by the league's coaches. The talented sophomore was the Fighting Tigers top performer at the 2020 NEAC Swimming & Diving Championships.
Individually the Allendale, N.J. native won: the 400-yard individual medley in a time of 5:02.02, the 200-yard individual medley in a time of 2:25.45 and the 200-yard butterfly in 2:24.92 to earn First Team All-NEAC honors in each event. She also swam the anchor legs on four Fighting Tiger championship relays: in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:50.19, the 200-yard medley relay in 2:04.33, the 800-yard freestyle relay in 9:11.79 and the 400-yard freestyle relay in 4:39.39 to also earn All-NEAC First Team honors in each event.
