With the cancellation of all spring sports due to COVID-19, leading to the lack of Fighting Tiger Athletes-of-the-week; The Fighting Tiger Athletic Department has decided revisit some of our previous “Athlete’s-of-the-Week” to honor them for their accomplishments.
Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill department of Sport & Exercise announced today that junior Brendan D’Costa, Hicksville, N.Y., Jericho High School, a member of the hunt seat equestrian team has been named the athletic program’s Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week.
D’Costa qualified for the Zone 2 Region 3 Regional Championships in Intermediate Flat Competition. For his qualifying effort the Hicksville, N.Y. native was named the team’s Most Valuable Rider.
