The freshman jumper was the Fighting Tigers top performer at the 2014 Capital District Classic hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Saturday April 26 at the Engineer’s Harkness Field in Troy, N.Y. Reid won the triple jump by posting one of the longest marks in the country to date  currently ranking sixth nationally in the event with a mark of 48’0”. By virtue of his efforts the Amityville, N.Y. native has qualified automatically for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships and the NYSCTC Outdoor Championships.
