The senior libero averaged 5.0 digs per set and had three crucial service aces in nine sets played as Cobleskill swept through the competition at the Green Mountain College Quadrangular Meet on Saturday in Poultney, Vt. Led by Cordova, the team posted victories over the host Mountaineers of Green Mountain College 3-0 by set scores of 25-15, 25-22 and 25-9 in the opener then out lasted the Spartans of Castleton State College 3-2 in the day’s second match by set scores of 25-15, 19-25, 25-17, 23-25 and 15-10 before closing the day’s action with a hard fought 3-2 win over the Owls of the University of Maine Presque Island by scores of: 25-19, 26-24, 24-26, 31-33 and 15-7. With the non-conference victories the Fighting Tigers improve to 6-2 overall on the year to date.
