Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team could not hold an early 2-0 lead and fell in five sets by a 3-2 margin to visiting Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) by set scores of:  25-23, 25-12, 9-25, 22-25 and 10-15 at the Iorio Gymnasium on Tuesday evening. The loss concludes the Fighting Tigers 2014 campaign with an11-21 overall record while MCLA moves to 15-11 overall on the year.

Cobleskill junior outside hitter Brandi Persico, Ravena, N.Y., Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School, posted a strong outing with nine kills and 13 digs on the evening while freshman middle hitter Alex Worthington, Millbrook, N.Y., Millbrook High School, had six kills and six total blocks. Freshman setter Sarah Ruggles, Guilderland, N.Y., Guilderland High School, record 30 assists and six digs on the night for the Orange & Black and senior libero Kim Cordova, Oneonta, N.Y., Oneonta High School, closed out her playing career with 20 digs.
