Utica, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team saw their three game winning streak come to a halt Wednesday evening as the Fighting Tigers dropped a 3-0 non-league road contest to the Pioneers of Utica College by set scores of 25-14, 25-22 and 25-18. With the loss Cobleskill drops to 6-3 overall on the season while Utica evens their overall mark at 5-5.

Raven Worthington, Owego, N.Y., Tioga High School, turned in a solid effort for Cobleskill with seven kills and 10 digs on the evening while freshman middle hitter
Alex Worthington, Millbrook, N.Y., Millbrook High School, also had seven kills to go with seven total blocks for the visitors.
The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Friday September 19 and Saturday September 20 when they host the season's first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Crossover Weekend. Cobleskill will open the tournament at 6:00 p.m. versus the Nittany Lions of Penn State Abington then take to the court at 8:00 p.m. versus the Screaming Eagles of the College of Saint Elizabeth. The Orange & Black will then conclude play on Saturday afternoon when they meet the Chargers of Lancaster Bible College at 12:00 p.m.
All SUNY Cobleskill games will be played in the Iorio Gymnasium and admission is free to the general public.
