Men's Soccer Defeated at SUNY Polytechnic Institute 7-0 in NEAC Play

Fighting Tigers Drop 7-0 Decision to SUNY Polytechnic Wildcats

Marcy, N.Y.: The road once again proved to be a rough one for the SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team on Saturday as the visiting Fighting Tigers could not overcome a powerful effort from host SUNY Polytechnic Institute falling to the Wildcats by a 7-0 margin in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action. The loss drops Cobleskill to 0-11 overall on the season including a 0-6 mark in league play while SUNY Poly moves to 7-4-1 overall with a 4-2 conference record.

The Fighting Tigers allowed five goals in the first half which sealed the contest's outcome as Cobleskill was once again outshot on the day by a 28-5 tally and dominated in the corner kicks area by hosts by the tune of 17-to-1.

Cobleskill will return to action after the college's fall break when they host the Eagles of Green Mountain College on Wednesday October 14th with kick-off at 4:00 p.m.
