Chambersburg, Pa.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team closed their final North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) on a down note on Sunday afternoon as the Fighting Tigers dropped a 1-0 decision to the Phoenix of Wilson College in league action. The loss drops the Orange & Black to 0-16 overall on the campaign with a 0-10 mark in league play while Wilson improves to 3-10-2 overall including a 3-7-2 mark in conference action.

Employing an extremely defensive oriented strategy paid dividends for the visitors until the 79^th minute of play when Phoenix freshman midfielder Carson Tagner, Sound Beach, N.Y., Rocky Point High School, converted in the box off a corner kick to provide the 1-0 margin of victory.

The Fighting Tigers defense was otherwise solid throughout the contest as freshman goalkeeper Wesley Rottkamp, Huntington, N.Y., John Glen High School, made 13 saves on the afternoon in his first collegiate start between the pipes.

Cobleskill will next be in action on Friday October 30^th when they host the Chargers of Lancaster Bible College for a NEAC contest with kick-off at 1:30 p.m.
