Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team could not overcome the high powered offensive attack of visiting Bryn Athyn College on Saturday afternoon as the Lions outscored the Fighting Tigers 6-1 to secure a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory. The loss drops Cobleskill to 0-8 overall with a 0-4 mark in conference play while Bryn Athyn improves to 6-4-1 overall on the year with a 2-2-1 record versus NEAC opponents.

Cobleskill struck first in the contest when freshman forward Todd Briggs, Mayfield, N.Y., Mayfield High School, scored off a well-placed cross form junior midfielder Greg Hunkins, Old Forge, N.Y., Town of Webb High School, in the 27^th minute of the game.

However from there the Fighting Tigers defense struggled to contain the visitors as the Lions outshot their hosts 26-11 on the afternoon while holding a 10-to-1 advantage in corner kicks.

The Orange & Black will get little rest as on Sunday, October 4^th, then will meet the Nittany Lions of Penn State Abington in conference action at the Soccer/Lacrosse Complex beginning at 12:00 p.m.
