Women's Soccer Loses 8-0 NEAC Decision to Lancaster Bible College

Fighting Tigers Fall 8-0 to LBC in League Action


Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team was shut down by the visiting Chargers of Lancaster Bible College (LBC) on Friday afternoon in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action at the Cobleskill Soccer/Lax Complex by an 8-0 margin. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 3-13 overall on the season including a 3-8 mark in conference play while the Chargers improve to 9-8-1 overall with a 8-2-1 record versus league opponents.

The Chargers held the upper end on the offensive end of the field outshooting their hosts 31-5 on the afternoon with a decided advantage in corner kicks of 8-1 on the afternoon.  

The Fighting Tigers will close their 2015 season on Saturday afternoon, October 31st, when they host the Nittany Lions of Penn State Berks in league action beginning at 3:00 p.m.
