Albany, N.Y.: In a meeting of 2015 NCAA Division III Tournament qualifying teams the SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers and the Gators of Sage College met at Sage's Kahl Gymnasium on Tuesday evening for a non-conference match-up. At the final buzzer it was the host Gators coming out on top by an 84-76 margin in the fast paced affair. The defeat drops the Fighting Tigers to 0-2 overall on the season while Sage improves to 2-1 overall on the year.
Turnovers and rebounding proved to be Cobleskill's undoing on the evening as the visitors had 26 turnovers on the night which led to 30 points for the host Gators who also held a 38-31 advantage on the glass in the contest.

The Fighting Tigers will next be in action over the weekend at the 2015Cortaca Classic beginning on Friday evening when they meet the Red Dragons of SUNY Cortland at Ithaca College in the tournament opener with tip-off at 6:00 p.m. before facing the Bombers of Ithaca College on Saturday at SUNY Cortland with tip-off at 2:00 p.m.
