Cazenovia, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team suffered their sixth consecutive loss on Wednesday evening dropping a 81-39 road decision to the host Wildcats of Cazenovia College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 2-14 overall on the year including a 1-10 league record while Cazenovia improves to 8-10 on the year with a 6-5 record in NEAC play.

The home team put the contest out of reach early on scoring the game's first 18 points and not allowing the Fighting Tigers to score until sophomore Shelby Preston, Ravena, N.Y., Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School, converted on a free throw attempt with 10:30 remaining in the first half.

Shelby Preston was Cobleskill's scoring leader with 15 points and grabbed a team high nine rebounds on the evening while freshman Felicia Snyder, Galway, N.Y., Galway High School, added a season high of seven points to go with three rebounds.

The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Saturday February 7 when they travel to Bryn Athyn, Pa. to face the Lions of Bryn Athyn College in NEAC play beginning at 1:00 p.m.
