Utica, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball dropped a 3-0 road decision to the host Pioneers of Utica College by set scores of 25-11, 26-24 and 25-11 in non-league action. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 1-4 on the season while the Pioneers improve to 1-4 overall on the year.

Senior outside hitter Raven Worthington, Owego, N.Y., Tioga High School, turned in a solid effort in the loss with three kills and seven digs while junior outside hitter Casey Williams, Wallkill, N.Y., Wallkill High School/Dutchess Community College, added five kills and four digs on the evening.

The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Saturday September 12^th when they host a triangular meet versus Cazenovia College and Southern Vermont College. Cobleskill will face the Wildcats of Cazenovia College to open play at 1:00 p.m. then meet the Mountaineers of Southern Vermont at 5:00 p.m.
