Schenectady, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball team's early season struggles continued on Sunday afternoon as the Fighting Tigers dropped a 113-63 decision to Eastern Connecticut State University (ECSU) in the consolation game of Union College's 2016 Sig Makofski Invitational Tournament. The loss drops Cobleskill to 0-5 overall on the season while the Warriors improve to 2-4 overall on the campaign.

Once again the Fighting Tigers suffered through a rough first half allowing the Warriors to connect on 26-of-37 shots from the field, 70.3%, including an impressive 10-of-13, 76.9%, from three-point range as ECSU rolled to a 68-21 halftime lead.

Fighting Tiger junior forward Christian Cooper, Gilboa, N.Y., Gilboa-Conesville High School, scored a season high of 15 points to lead Cobleskill.

The Orange & Black will return to action on Wednesday November 30^th when they host the Wildcats of SUNY Polytechnic Institute in the team's North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opener with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
