Lancaster, Pa.: After a minor traffic accident delayed the start of their road game by nearly three hours, the SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball team had the unenviable task of meeting the North Eastern Athletic Conference's (NEAC) top team the NCAA Division III's men's nationally 15
th ranked Chargers of Lancaster Bible College (LBC) on Saturday afternoon on the home team's senior day. The visiting Fighting Tigers proved to be no match for the host Chargers dropping a 95-71 decision to the home team. The loss drops Cobleskill to 3-19 overall on the season with a 3-11 mark in NEAC play while LBC continues their record setting season moving improving to 22-0 overall including a 15-0 league record.
Once again the backboard proved to be the Fighting Tigers Achilles Heel as the Chargers held an impressive 52-to-21 advantage on the glass in the contest.
Sophomore guard
Malik Chambers, West Point, N.Y., James I. O'Neil High School, continued his strong late season all-around play as the second-year performer hit for 16 points to go with three assists, three rebounds and two steals on the afternoon.
Cobleskill will continue their Pennsylvania road trip on Sunday when they travel to Reading, Pa. to meet the Nittany Lions of Penn State Berks with tip-off scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
