Cazenovia, N.Y.: Cazenovia College used a pair of second half tallies to topple the visiting Fighting Tigers of SUNY Cobleskill by a 3-1 margin in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opener for both teams. With the loss Cobleskill drops to 1-2 overall on the season including a 0-1 mark in league action while the Wildcats improve to 2-2 overall on the year with a 1-0 record in league play.

Morganne Dick, Johnstown, N.Y., Johnstown High School, scored on an 18-yard blast to even the contest.
However the Cobleskill offense could manage only one more shot on goal the rest of the contest as the Wildcats dominated the action racking up a 21-to-6 advantage in shots and an 11-to-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Samantha Springstead, Staten Island, N.Y., Notre Dame Academy, kept the Orange & Black afloat throughout the contest registering 11 saves on the afternoon as the Wildcats tried to press their home field advantage.
The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Sunday afternoon, September 11
th, when they host the Mustangs of Morrisville State College in NEAC play at the Soccer/Lax Complex beginning at 12:00 p.m.
