Women's Soccer Closes Season With 8-0 Road Loss at Penn College on Saturday

Fighting Tigers Blanked 8-0 By Wildcats in NEAC Action to Close Year

Williamstown, Pa.,: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team closed the 2017 season on Saturday afternoon losing to the host Wildcats of Penn College by an 8-0 score in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action. With the loss the Fighting Tigers close the season with a 0-17 overall mark including a 0-10 record in league action while the Wildcats improve to 9-7-3 overall with a 6-2-2 mark in conference play.

Sophomore goalkeeper Samantha Springstead, Staten Island, N.Y., Notre Dame Academy, recorded 11 saves in net for the Fighting Tigers.
