Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball team came up on the short end of a 63-60 scored on Saturday afternoon losing to the visiting Wolves of Keuka College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 4-5 overall with a 1-3 record in league play while Keuka now moves to 4-5 overall with a 1-2 NEAC mark.
Once again the Fighting Tigers were in a position to tie the contest trailing 63-60 after a made Keuka free throw pushing the ball up the floor with eight seconds remaining and working the ball to sophomore guard
Devin Boyle, Johnstown, N.Y., Johnstown High School, whose game tying three-point attempt fell short with one second remaining.
Once again the senior duo of swingman
Joel Costello, Middleburgh, N.Y., Middleburgh High School/Onondaga Community College, and guard
Malik Chambers, West Point, N.Y., James I. O'Neil High School, led the Orange & Black as Costello scored 18 points to go with seven rebounds while Chambers also hit for 18 points while passing our three assists on the afternoon.
The Fighting Tigers will close out the semester on Saturday December 16
th when they host the Hawks of Hartwick College in non-league action beginning at 2:00 p.m.
