Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball team made good use of their home court advantage on Saturday afternoon breaking a 10-game losing streak by posting a 76-59 victory over the visiting Wildcats of Penn College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play. With the win the Fighting Tigers improve to 5-13 overall on the season including a 2-8 mark in conference play while the Wildcats fall to 4-14 overall with a 3-6 NEAC record.
Cobleskill effectively put the contest away in the first half charging out to a 42-26 first half lead on their strongest shooting effort of the season connecting on an impressive 15-of-28, 53.6%, shots from the field including 6-of-14, 42.9%, from three-point range while converting on 6-of-8, 75.0%, from the free throw line.

Anthony McNeil, Gresham, S.C., Union-Endicott High School/Broome Community College, was the Orange & Blacks catalyst as the 6'6" forward dominated the action in the paint scoring 18 points to go with eight rebounds, four blocked shots and three assists with senior guard
Malik Chambers, West Point, N.Y., James I. O'Neil High School, adding 17 points, five rebounds and four assists to the victory totals. Senior swingman
Joel Costello, Middleburgh, N.Y., Middleburgh High School/Tompkins-Cortland Community College, was also a factor in the win with 10 points, five assists and four steals.
The Fighting Tigers will return to NEAC action on Wednesday January 30
th when they travel to Utica, N.Y. to face the Wildcats of SUNY Polytechnic Institute with tip-off at 5:00 p.m.
