Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball team returned to action after their winter break dropping a 78-60 decision to the visiting Dutchmen of Union College on Monday evening at the Iorio Gymnasium in non-conference play. With the defeat the Fighting Tigers drop to 4-7 overall on the year to date while Union is now 5-5 overall on the campaign.
The Dutchman seized control of the contest early shooting an impressive 15-of-28, 54.6%, from the field in the opening half to take a 44-27 advantage from which they never looked back. Union also dominated the glass in the contest out rebounding Cobleskill 46-29 on the evening to secure the victory.

Antwan Claxton, Bronx, N.Y., Taft High School, had a team high 18 points on the evening to go with eight rebounds while sophomore guard
Devin Boyle, Johnstown, N.Y., Johnstown High School, came off the bench to score 10 points and record three steals.
The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Wednesday evening January 10
th when they host North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) rival SUNY Polytechnic at the Iorio Gymnasium with tip-off at 5:00 p.m.
