Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team celebrated "Senior Night" in style with a 3-1 victory over the visiting Trailblazers of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) the Iorio Gymnasium in non-league action on Tuesday evening. With the victory the Fighting Tigers run their current winning streak to five games and improve to 7-15 overall on the season while MCLA falls to 7-17 on the campaign.
The Fighting Tiger setter corps led the way to the victory as senior setter
Mackenzie Holbert, Sauquoit, N.Y., New Hartford High School/Herkimer Community College, notched 11 digs, 10 assists, four kills and a pair of service aces on the evening while junior setter
Regan Hubner, Miller Place, N.Y., Rocky Point High School, added 13 assists, 10 digs, eight kills, three service aces and a pair of total blocks.
Sophomore middle hitter
Rachel Burke, Ilion, N.Y., Mount Markham High School, was a factor at the net with seven kills and three total blocks while sophomore middle hitter
Karyn Knaul, Central Square, N.Y., Paul V. Moore High School, added five kills, three total blocks and a pair of assist. Senior defensive specialist
Dani Webb, Munnsville, N.Y., Stockbridge Valley High School, was also a factor on "Senior Night" with six digs and two assists.
Cobleskill will close the season on Wednesday evening, October 24
th, when they host the Mustangs of Morrisville State in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action beginning at 7: 00 p.m. Â Â
