Aurora, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team closed the 2018 campaign on Saturday afternoon traveling to Wells College to post a 3-2 The Express in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play. With the victory the Fighting Tigers close their season with a 6-11 overall record including a 3-8 mark in NEAC play while The Express end the year at 3-13 overall with a 2-9 record in conference action.
With the contest tied at 2-2 entering the 73
rd minute when Cobleskill freshman midfielder Rebecca Bruno, Middleburgh, N.Y., Middleburgh High School, scored on a breakaway to the visitors a 3-2 advantage from which they never looked back.
The Fighting Tigers also received scoring efforts from junior forward
Addy Lawson, Milford, N.Y., Milford High School, and junior midfielder Nellie Ramsden, Marcellus, N.Y., Marcellus High School, who each tallied a goal and an assist on the afternoon.

Abigail Wetsel, Schoharie, N.Y., Schoharie High School, posted the win between the pipes making eight saves on the afternoon.
TIGER NOTES: The Fighting Tigers posted one of the best turnaround seasons in the nation this year going 6-11 overall on the year after going 0-18 during the 2017 season. Â Â
