Oneonta, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team closed out the regular season on low note Sunday afternoon falling to conference rival Morrisville State in overtime in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action by a 2-1 margin in a game with NEAC play-off seeding ramifications played on the turf at SUNY Oneonta's All-College Field. With the loss the Fighting Tigers close out the regular season with a 9-9-1 mark including a 6-4-1 record in league play while the Mustangs are now 9-8-1 overall with a 8-3 record versus NEAC opponents.

Patrick McGovern, Congleton, England, Congleton High School, blasted home a loose ball in front of the Mustang goal to make it 1-0.
Morrisville tied the score in the 77
th minute of play when sophomore defender Daniel Sparkowski, East Meadow, N.Y., East Meadow High School, converted on a free kick to tie the contest at 1-1.
With neither team scoring in regulation the game moved to overtime when Mustang junior forward Kossi Philippe Nodjo, New York, N.Y., Metropolitan High School, scored at short range off a corner kick to give Morrisville the 2-1 victory.
With the loss the Fighting Tigers have now been seeded fifth for the 2018 NEAC Men's Soccer Championship Tournament and will now travel to Keuka Park, N.Y. on Tuesday October 30
th with kick-off scheduled for 2:00 p.m. while with the win Morrisville State has been awarded the third seed and will now host sixth seeded Penn College beginning at 2:00 p.m. Â
