Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team ended the 2017-18 campaign on Saturday afternoon by dropping a 60-56 decision to the visiting Wells College Express in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play. With the loss the Fighting Tigers finish the season with an 11-14 overall record including 5-11 record in NEAC action while The Express improves to 9-16 overall on the year with an 8-8 record versus league opponents.
With the game tied 56-56 with 1:08 remaining in regulation visitors from Aurora, N.Y. outscored the Fighting Tigers 4-0 down the stretch to secure the victory as Cobleskill could not generate offense missing three shots and committing a pair of turnovers.
The Fighting Tigers backcourt was the high point of the afternoon as sophomore guard
Addy Lawson, Cooperstown, N.Y., Milford High School, posted a double/double with a game high 20 points to go with 10 rebounds and four assists while fellow sophomore guard
Shaliyah Graham, Bronx, N.Y., Martin Luther King High School, also posted a double/double with 14 points and 10 rebounds to close the campaign.
