Winter Haven, Fl.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's baseball team resumed play traveling south to meet Juniata College in doubleheader action at the Russmatt Baseball Central Florida Invitational at the Chain of Lakes Park Stadium. The Fighting Tigers dropped a pair of games to the Eagles of Juniata College by scores of 16-5 and 10-4. With the losses Cobleskill falls to 0-4 overall on the season.
In the opener the Fighting Tigers received offensive production from sophomore designated hitter
Nick Carozza, Milton, N.Y., Marlboro High School, who was 1-for-3 with a pair of RBI and freshman right fielder
Zyere Molinaro, Summit, N.Y., Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, who went 2-for-2 with a RBI.
In the second game Cobleskill trailed 5-to-4 going into the fourth inning when the Eagles scored the game's last five runs to put the contest out of reach.
Nick Carozza once again turned in a solid effort going 1-for-2 with a RBI for the Orange & Black.
Cobleskill will next be in action on Thursday at the Russmatt Baseball Central Florida Invitational when they face Clackson University in the morning and SUNY Farmingdale in the afternoon.
